Sony SmartWatch is the new super portable Android device, Features and Compatibility
Sony always make devices that make people’s everyday life easy like this new SmartWatch that can connect with an Android smartphone via Bluetooth. Sony SmartWatch allow users to read text messages, email, receive notifications from Facebook and Twitter direct from your phone. Sony promised that it would work with Sony Xperia phones, HTC, Motorola and Samsung smartphones. Its appearance looks like an ipod Nano but it has many features and functions.
SmartWatch use a high speed Bluetooth v3.0. It will let you answer calls via a Bluetooth headset. You can also listen and manage music from your phone if it is in your pocket or bag. I thinking to buy this SmartWatch to see how comfortable it is, you can control multiple functions of your smartphone from your wrist.
Battery life is one of the big issue in this device because I also don’t want to charge my wristwatch ever couple of hours. According to Sony, battery life will last for a week with moderate use which sounds good to me and for heavy use, I would rather use the smartphone instead of the SmartWatch. The charger is a special USB cable with a hooked end that clips into place against charging terminals that was made for this device only.
