Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield, playable in the new Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 6 is Capcom’s upcoming installment into the popular survival horror Resident Evil series. Last year, there are lots of speculation that the game will be announced at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS2011) but there was no official sight of Resident Evil 6 and Capcom failed to confirm if the brief teaser trailer is true. Capcom release the reveal trailer shows the two leading male character Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield and the third unnamed character looks playable, too.

I also want to share the images of these two popular character in the past Resident Evil game. Leon Kennedy in Racoon Police Department (R.P.D.) uniform in Resident Evil 2 (left) and Leon Kennedy with brown leather jacket in Resident Evil 4 (right).

Chris Redfield, member of Special Tactics And Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) from the first Resident Evil (left) and Chris Redfield in Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (B.S.A.A.) uniform in Resident Evil 5 (right).

Story

It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world’s population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left.

The Last of Us – New level of gaming by Naughty Dog

If you’re a fan of Uncharted, I’m sure you’re gonna like this. Naughty Dog announced their upcoming game The Last of Us for PS3 but there is no release details yet. They revealed the trailer that shows a man and a girl struggling from humanoid monster in a ruined city. It seems that his is a horror suspense game and I believe that the story will be really interesting that you may not want to turn-off your console to find out what will happen next.

The game is like a movie, character details, surroundings, movements and overall graphics improves a lot in its Debut trailer. Uncharted is Naughty Dog’s most successful title that’s why gamer and fans are excited and expecting a new level of gaming in The Last of Us. The team is still developing the game to show off the taste of high-quality visuals that is superior to the latest Uncharted.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be available in 2012

I played and finished Metal Gear Solid 4 in PS3 and I thought that it will be the end of MSG series but here is another title from Konami call Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The main character is the cyborg ninja Raiden, was once feared as the child soldier “Jack the Ripper” on the front lines of the first Liberian Civil War, and also an ally of Solid Snake in between the events of MGS 2 and MGS 4. The news says that the game has a completely revised storyline and it will take place after the event in MGS 4. The gameplay is different from the previous MGS titles, its a pure action game focusing on swordfighting and a sophisticated cutting system. Raiden’s main weapon is a high-frequency blade and the game highlight cutting system that allows player to engage in third person melee combat as well as precisely slash enemies and objects. Metal Gear Rising will be available in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox360.

Final Fantasy X remake for PS Vita and PS3 announced by Square Enix

The first Final Fantasy that I played is FF XII in PS2 and it was really amazed me with its game mechanics, battle system and unique storyline. And it followed by FF VII Crisis core in PSP and FF XIII in PS3. I’m actually can’t wait for the next Final Fantasy XIII-2 and XIII versus to see the new battle system and awesome characters abilities.

Cloud Strife is a very popular Final Fantasy main character and many fans are asking for a remake of FF VII. I also want to see the remaster version of the game to know the story after the event in Crisis Core but Square Enix developed the remake of Final Fantasy X for PS Vita and PS3 which really surprised me. I’m glad that they choose FF X as their next option since I haven’t play this part yet and I don’t have any negative feedback with this remake.

I uploaded the photo of a very cool FF X character for me, “Auron” and I will make him overpower once I get myself into the game. I have here the Youtube video from where I got the news.

Experience the real combo in the new King of Fighters XIII

The first KOF I’ve played is King of Fighters 98 going back in the year 1998 when I was in high school. I was fully understand the gameplay and character background and skills when KOF 99 millenium edition was release. You will expect the traditional KOF fighting, some pretty wild combos, desperation moves and Neo Maxes that will surely bring excitement to versus fighting gamer.

Just to give you a brief introduction about the game for those who never played KOF before, this is a lot different from Street Fighter or Tekken. King of Fighters series is a 3 versus 3 fighter using four button in your game pad, you have the ability to run, hop, counter attack and dodge roll. There are many offensive movements and lots of combos in every single character. There is also a guard break meter, you cannot just keep on blocking and wait until it breaks and get a full damage combo.

I heard that every bit of negative feedback from the last KOF has been addressed here, it proves that SNK still cares about the fans. I would like to thanks SNK for making KOF XIII and I hope that this is not the end of KOF series of fighting games.
