Samsung Galaxy R I9103 – A variant of Samsung Galaxy S II
Samsung announced the new Galaxy R on August 10, 2011 as a variant of Galaxy S 2. The phone highlights the clocking and lightning speed performance with its 1GHz dual-core processor Tegra 2. Its nice to know that Samsung and NVIDIA banded together to make a high-end but much cheaper smartphone. Instead of using a Super AMOLED Plus, Samsung used a 4.19-inch Super Clear LCD in Galaxy R. You will noticed the display of Galaxy R is more colorful and has a higher contrast from Galaxy S2 if you watch the comparison video between the two. One noticeable downgrade from the two Galaxy is the camera, Galaxy R is only using a 5 megapixel primary camera.
