Unexpected new character in Soul Calibur V

 That’s right! as you can see in the image, Ezio Auditore da Firenze (from Assasin’s Creed)is confirmed as a new character in Soul Calibur V. It was not a big suprise as Darth Vader and Yoda in Soul Calibur IV but Kratos in the portable version was really surprise me.  I wanna say, Great job to Namco Bandai for making Ezio as a guest character in this sixth installment in Namco’s Soul series.

According to Namco Bandai vice president of marketing Carlson Choi:

We wanted to bring in a character that works in the Western world. When you look at where Ubisoft is, especially with Ezio, it brings us in the Western market and gets everyone excited about the game. More importantly, the fighting style is so unique it’s a perfect fit in the Soulcalibur world, which is why we went to seek out Ubisoft

 The game was officially announced by Namco Bandai on May 11, 2011 and it will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 in 2012.
