World’s first 41-megapixel Phone Camera, Main feature of Nokia 808 PureView
A perfect photo that came from a phone camera is now possible with Nokia 808 PureView. This is the first smartphone that feature new PureView technology which will exceed your expectations about the phone camera photography. The Nokia 808 PureView features a 41-megapixel camera sensor with the highest performance Carl Zeiss optics that can shoot in a second, even in low light. Many people believe that the quality of the camera depends on its megapixel but Nokia knows that more megapixel is not always better. Nokia PureView has the ability to zoom without loss of clarity like capturing an image, then zoom, reframe, crop and resize afterwards to expose previously unseen levels of details.
Nokia 808 PureView makes it possible to capture high-quality detailed images in any conditions and create amazing pictures at normal, manageable sizes. With low-light performance, it also has a powerful Xenon flash and LED video light to catch spontaneous moments after dark.

This completely took me by surprise. Can’t wait to see the photos it takes. What a leap in Megapixels. I’ve actually just written an article about the future of mobile phones on my blog. It’s a bit speculative but it’s just a bit of fun! You can find it at http://gadgetnode.com/10-advancements-in-mobile-technology-we-might-see-in-the-future/ if anyone wants a read.
Hello Soph R, you can visit Nokia.com europe or watch the hand-on with Nokia 808 for more sample photos from its camera. Thanks for visiting my blog!
41-megapixel woah!! but it will eat-up your storage even if you transferred them to your hard disk, right? Even DSLR Cameras don’t have that pixel size.
Sana pwede ma-adjust yung camera megapixel para hindi naman masyado malaki ung image size. Lagi na lang iba-back up ung mga pictures sa PC dahil mapupuno agad. 😀
wow, 41mp!! I don’t need to own a dslr camera for this new nokia 808.
A phone and high-quality camera that can fit in your pocket, less hassle. Thanks for dropping by! ^_^
Ive seen test shots from this phone and it is amazing and it should be its sensor is bigger then normal point and shoot cameras
That’s good to know, so its more a camera than a phone.
