Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield, playable in the new Resident Evil 6

Games

Resident Evil 6 is Capcom’s upcoming installment into the popular survival horror Resident Evil series. Last year, there are lots of speculation that the game will be announced at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS2011) but there was no official sight of Resident Evil 6 and Capcom failed to confirm if the brief teaser trailer is true. Capcom release the reveal trailer shows the two leading male character Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield and the third unnamed character looks playable, too.

I also want to share the images of these two popular character in the past Resident Evil game. Leon Kennedy in Racoon Police Department (R.P.D.) uniform in Resident Evil 2 (left) and Leon Kennedy with brown leather jacket in Resident Evil 4 (right).

Chris Redfield, member of Special Tactics And Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) from the first Resident Evil (left) and Chris Redfield in Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (B.S.A.A.) uniform in Resident Evil 5 (right).

Story

It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world’s population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left.

—Official Capcom description

Its the first time Capcom brings Leon and Chris together in Resident Evil game. You may noticed the great improvements in graphics, Capcom has made the characters look more mature to offer players realistic gameplay and something other games don’t have.

The Last of Us – New level of gaming by Naughty Dog

Games

If you’re a fan of Uncharted, I’m sure you’re gonna like this. Naughty Dog announced their upcoming game The Last of Us for PS3 but there is no release details yet. They revealed the trailer that shows a man and a girl struggling from humanoid monster in a ruined city. It seems that his is a horror suspense game and I believe that the story will be really interesting that you may not want to turn-off your console to find out what will happen next.

The game is like a movie, character details, surroundings, movements and overall graphics improves a lot in its Debut trailer. Uncharted is Naughty Dog’s most successful title that’s why gamer and fans are excited and expecting a new level of gaming in The Last of Us. The team is still developing the game to show off the taste of high-quality visuals that is superior to the latest Uncharted.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be available in 2012

Games

I played and finished Metal Gear Solid 4 in PS3 and I thought that it will be the end of MSG series but here is another title from Konami call Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The main character is the cyborg ninja Raiden, was once feared as the child soldier “Jack the Ripper” on the front lines of the first Liberian Civil War, and also an ally of Solid Snake in between the events of MGS 2 and MGS 4. The news says that the game has a completely revised storyline and it will take place after the event in MGS 4. The gameplay is different from the previous MGS titles, its a pure action game focusing on swordfighting and a sophisticated cutting system. Raiden’s main weapon is a high-frequency blade and the game highlight cutting system that allows player to engage in third person melee combat as well as precisely slash enemies and objects. Metal Gear Rising will be available in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox360.
